Sunday Lesson

So on Sunday I was preparing my lesson. It was about wise King Solomon. Well I got to the point of reading some of the scriptures he wrote in Proverbs and it told me to have the kids read them and discuss what each one means. As I read them the thought came to me that these sayings sound like something you would find in a fortune cookie! I remembered seeing a recipe for them on the www.ourbestbites.com website so I gave it a try! They were pretty simple (even though I did get burned a little) and they were a hit with my class! They were all asking me how I got the papers inside the cookie! I was pretty proud of myself, I have to admit! They actually tasted pretty good too!

Debbie this is what I was telling you about a while ago. This girl I went to highschool with celebrates everyday and teaches her kids about whatever they are celebrating and they do something fun to go with it.
