Strawberry Spinach Salad

Although I was sick all yesterday afternoon and evening I am pretty sure I am going to want to try this eventually.

Strawberry Spinach Salad
Recipe from Our Best Bites and Stephanie Jones

1 10-oz. bag fresh baby spinach
1/2-1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1 medium cucumber, seeded and sliced (you can peel it first if you want)
1 c. sliced almonds, toasted
1 recipe Lemon Poppy Seed Vinaigrette
1/2 lb. grilled chicken breasts, sliced or diced (optional)

Toss ingredients together and serve immediately. You can also arrange the ingredients on individual plates for serving.

Silhouette

So I finally found a good use for my Christmas present!  I hate that I never know what is in the bins that you can't see through. Plus I am always changing around what is in the bins, so I didn't want anything permanent on them. So I used my handy dandy silhouette machine to cut some vinyl for the bins, that way if I need to take it off I can!!! And I cut the words big enough even a blind person will know what is in my bins!!! The biggest plus to all this is that it is helping me be a little more organized! That's always a good thing- I think :)

K Jana here is your Samuel the Lamanite FHE, now you can build a tower out of rice krispy treats and put samueul on there and the boys can throw rocks and arrows at him! I got this back when I lived in Colorado It is by Peggy Moffat- If you click on the pictures it should make them big!

 

 

My other Bouquets

Here are the two bouquets I auctioned off last night for the service auction! The dinner and auction went really well and everyone seemed to have fun and loved everything! I wish I would have taken my camera because it actually looked really awesome!

Here are the fruit baskets we attempted to do for that baby shower! I will show you the ones for the Relief Society Birthday thing because I found a better way to do them. So I will post them after they are finished.

DJ Find

The before picture! Isn't it so pretty? Worth the whole $20 bucks I spent on it? My kids call it the DJ because it has a record player in it! My neighbor pointed out that it even had an 8 track in it. But that is not the point of this! I repainted it in a cream color and am wondering if I should glaze it with brown or just sand off some of the edges or just leave it how it is??? Please help!!! (on a side note looking at these pictures I think the top needs one more coat!
